Laying the second bonded layer of underlay felt.
You can do this by calculating the length and width of each side of your roof.
Once measured and cut line the first piece of felt up so that it over hangs the edge of the roof on three sides by enough to cover the side pieces of the roof.
You can either measure the roof from the ground or by standing on a ladder and actually going up on the roof.
For hip type shed roofs which include slopes on all 4 sides begin at the square hip at the top of the roof.
You will then need to measure the length and width of the roof.
